Codes for job descriptions.

NOTE: Appendix AH is for use with Field 8 (JOB DESCRIPTION) in the Staff and Staff Snapshot Templates.

SWS	School and Student Access	Access to PVAAS as a School User for school level reports and student level reports (including value-added, diagnostic, and student projection reports)	Use this code to reinstate existing SWS access (inactive > 15 months), or to create a new PVAAS account for staff members for the respective location code in Staff Template.	This often includes lead teachers, classroom teachers, and other professional staff who need access to school level data AND student level data such as, but not limited to: Asst Principal, Dean of Students, School Counselor, regular and special education teachers responsible for instruction in state tested grades/subjects/courses, and teachers responsible for interventions/academic supports for students.
SNS	School and No Student Access	Access to PVAAS as a School User for school level reports (including value-added and diagnostic reports), but NO access to student data	Use this code to reinstate existing SNS access (inactive > 15 months), or to create a new PVAAS account for staff members for the respective location code in Staff Template.	This often includes classroom teachers and other professional staff who need access to school level data but do NOT need access to student level data.
NCH	No Change to Access	No change to existing access in PVAAS	Use this code to keep existing access to PVAAS for staff members for the respective location code in Staff Template.	This value applies to staff members who have maintained the same role for over a year and have an active PVAAS account with less than 15 months of inactivity. This could also include district administrators who would access PVAAS as District Users or Admin. NCH records will be removed from the file to SAS EVAAS.
NLA	No LEA Access	No PVAAS access for respective LEA	Use this code to remove ALL access to PVAAS for staff members for the LEA in Staff Template.	This value applies to staff members who should not have (or do not require) PVAAS access for their role, including contractors and employees who have been terminated.
